Oat Lace Cookies





   This was a new recipe and I was a bit sceptical about the quantity of some of the ingredients but it worked out well in the end. I combined 12oz of sugar, 6oz of rolled oats and 6oz of flour together in a bowl. Next, I melted some butter and used this to bind the mixture together. Finally I added 1 egg and 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence. I put small spoonful’s of the mixture on a baking tray and cooked in the oven for 8 minutes. The cookies were quite gooey in the centre and had a nice crunch to the outside.
