Cutting out the scone shape |
I crumbled together flour, butter and sugar to create a bread crumb mixture
before adding 5 tablespoons of milk. When the ingredients had formed a dough I
rolled it out ½ inch thick on a lightly floured surface. Using a special
scone cutter I cut out 15 scones. Once they were brown I took them out of the
oven to cool. Once cool, I cut them in half and served them with fresh
strawberries and clotted cream!
